This month (#12), Jade does
things quite different than at any other time in her life. For instance,
she can:
- drink from a "sippie-cup"
- walk without staggering
- say, "Robert" (my nephew)
- say, "Grandma" (my mother)
- say, "Get Out!" - with emphasis
- play alone for 5-minutes or more without becoming irritated
- take a bath and get her hair done without crying
- obey my "No!" command
- pay attention to educational videos for 10-minutes or more
- let me know when she is uncomfortable with gestures opposed to tantrums
- eat more "real" food and drink less "formula"
- understand where her: nose, hair, eyes are
- push her limbs through her clothes as I dress her
- raise a comb or brush to her hair in an attempt to do it herself
- bang on objects as if she is making music
